Compared to metal braces, there are no significant differences in terms of treatment result. Clear (Tooth colored) braces treatment is performed with brackets made of porcelain-based material. For this reason, it gives the patient a much more aesthetic and natural appearance similar to the structure of the tooth. However, it should be kept in mind that it will not be as durable as metal braces, and much more care should be taken when treating Clear (Tooth colored) braces. For this reason, it may not be a suitable treatment method, especially for children.

Lingual Orthodontics (Invisible Dental Braces)

It is a treatment method that aims to eliminate the disturbing appearance of the dental braces. It is made by placing transparent or metal brackets on the invisible inner surfaces of the teeth. However, when compared in terms of treatment prices, it may contain a higher cost than metal or Clear (Tooth colored) braces.

Clear Aligner(Invisalign)

Transparent dental plaque, also known as “Invisalign”, is a combination of the words “invisible” meaning invisible and “aligner” meaning corrective. Invisalign method is used in cases where there are milder tooth crowding and chin disorders that require orthodontic treatment. Brackets and wires are not available in this application like other applications. For the patient’s tooth structure and the desired correction, the patient is subjected to special 3D measurements. In the light of the measurements made, clear aligner(Invisalign) are prepared for the patient and the treatment is carried out in this way.

Which one should I choose?

Although all orthodontic treatments fulfill the same function, the expectations of the patient have an important place in the decision-making phase. An aesthetic orthodontic treatment is more costly than traditional metal braces.
